WHOLE-PERSON PRACTICE
Care that meets the whole system
Therapy, integration, ketamine support, and naturopathic consultation shaped around your lived experience.
Mind, body, biography, and biology are not separate rooms.

Four paths into the same work
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Fast-acting support for severe symptom burdens, held inside integrative therapeutic care.
Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy
Client-centered therapy that honors nervous system wisdom and the possibility of repair.
Psychedelic Integration
Grounded harm reduction support for making meaning from non-ordinary states
Naturopathic Consultation
Education & recommendations for nutrition, lifestyle, herbs, supplements, and wellbeing.

CATALYST THERAPY
Ketamine Assisted
Psychotherapy
Research on low-dose ketamine since the early 2000s supports its effectiveness, offering a new, fast-acting, and low side-effect medication, particularly hopeful for treatment-resistant depression.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy offers an integrative psychotherapeutic approach that can rapidly improve depression, anxiety, and suicidality. Sessions are conducted with a therapist and physician and include support before, during, and after the medicine work.

Leveraging ketamine as a catalyst to deep psychotherapeutic work can significantly improve clinical outcomes, particularly for people carrying severe symptom burdens.

RELATIONAL WORK
Trauma Informed
Psychotherapy
Dr. Kalstein's approach is client-centered, evidence-based, and trauma informed. She believes therapist and client are partners in healing, and works to reduce the power dynamic often found in traditional therapy settings.
Her work is grounded in the belief that mind and body contain self-healing mechanisms. With education, appropriate techniques, and a supportive environment, the client can heal.
The goal is to help clients gain insight and skills necessary to integrate their past and create the most authentic vision for their futures.
Her influences include Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Relational Therapy, NARM, EMDR, and DBT.

MEANING MAKING
Psychedelic
Integration
Dr. Kalstein has 20 years of experience with psychedelic integration. She spent over 10 years studying with teachers in Brazil in the Santo Daime lineage, and has also studied in Peru.
She received her Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research from California Institute for Integral Studies in 2021, and has completed 100 hours of MAPS training toward MDMA therapist certification.
Her approach is harm reduction based and trauma informed. Somatic work, lifestyle changes, nutritional support, supplements, and psychotherapy may all be part of the work, depending on the individual need.
CONSULTATION
Naturopathic
Consultation
Dr. Kalstein offers naturopathic consultation and education, including recommendations for nutrition, lifestyle practices, herbal medicine, and supplements for health concerns and overall wellbeing.
She specializes in integrative approaches to mental health, women's health, hormones, stress management, and gut health.
This work is for clients who are holistically minded and looking for an in-depth understanding of their biology and physiology. If you live in California, Dr. Kalstein can order labs, diagnose, and prescribe medications when necessary.
Dr. Kalstein is licensed as a naturopathic doctor in California. Tennessee does not license Naturopathic Doctors, so she does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe in Tennessee and recommends maintaining a local primary care physician.
